Develop your ceramic practice in our modern workshop, ideally located a stone's throw from RENENS train station. Join us for a unique pottery experience with an open studio membership, where you'll have access to over 300m² of space, expert instruction. Take your skills to the next level.
• Your monthly accesses are flexible. You don't have to come on set days.
• Your workshop is open every day from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Storage space, an apron and a personal toolbox are allocated to members.
• Members receive 25% off all workshops for the duration of their membership
The KLAYIT Lausanne studio is an artisanal space fully equipped with professional potters' tools and machines.
• 12 potter’s wheels (6 wheels are always reserved for members)
• A rolling mill
• A large spray box for spray glazing
• A plaster workspace for making molds.
• A plaster wheel.
• More than 20 glazes to dip
• More than 30 brush enamels
• 5 types of clay to stoneware
• Two porcelain clays
Each member has a personal storage space.
A pottery toolbox is also made available to each member for their personal use.
Our studio also offers calm and bright spaces for your tabletop ceramic work.
A healing area with coffee and tea machine, a community fridge and a microwave.

You will receive access to the members' calendar on which you must register before coming. You can reschedule your session no later than 48 hours before your session.
• Access to all KLAYIT facilities, studios, machines and tools. (except for the oven, the KLAYIT team is in charge of managing the oven). The oven rotation is approximately 1 week on average.

• Pack of 10 kg of stoneware clay, sold at the workshop for €25.-chf
• 25% reduction on KLAYIT workshops.
• The firing price is 23.- chf/kg including both firing (glaze + high temperature) and use of KLAYIT glaze.
• Private sessions for 90.- chf/hour.
YOU CANNOT BRING YOUR OWN ICING OR CLAY.
If you would like to use a glaze or clay that we do not carry in the studio, we will be happy to order it with the next purchase.
Subscriptions are subscription based, you can subscribe for a minimum of 1 month. Your subscription will automatically renew without notice.
You cannot suspend your subscription.
If you would like to stop your membership, you can cancel directly on the website and give us 10 days' notice. When canceling your membership, you must empty your shelf and collect all of your items before your last day. All Uncollected items will be disposed of once the subscription ends.
We do not refund any transactions. Be sure to plan your subscription carefully.
You CANNOT bring your own clay or glaze.
The studio's tools and machines are at your disposal.
If you don't have enough glazing experience, we recommend taking a glazing and decorating workshop so you can start using glazes on your own.
It's always good to ask if you are unsure about certain materials or machines, we are happy to guide you and answer your questions.
We do not expect you to know how to use all machines like the glazing cage, please ask before using or book a private session to get the necessary tutorial.
